hi sorry for late reply  i tinkered with it a little so what's happening now is the central locking don't work its kind of random but when it does that's when the seat can function as normal kind of weird i know also no other buttons mate just those and lever on same side too it totally random when i press inside lock button to lock and unlock all doors it sometimes works and when it does thats when i know the seat will work let me know your thoughts.

hi can anyone advise me last time i was one here i was very grateful for people helping me although my car is a toyota isis  but it has the same seat welcab like on the alphard can anyone at all help or point me in the right direction please.

 i need  advise me on the re set procedure for the Toyota isis welcab electric chair  i have followed some reset procedure online but not had any joy mine is a 2 button seat and this is the first i have come across with this seat function and hoping you can either advise or recommend someone to ask about this,i tried this below

 1 press up and down forward 15sec

 2 press up 4 times

 3 forward 4 times

 4 move seat back and forth

 I tried a few times it makes all the right bleeps but nothing rotates or the seat doesn't come out it just goes back and forth and thats it  although the video i saw was on a  toyota sienta with 3 buttons and mine is a isis model with only 2 one for forward and back and the other for up and down or in and out i guess pls advise.

Note, the transmission control is also done by the engine control ECU.

 

Is it possible the wrong sensor was replaced? The input and output sensors are identical so this is quite possible. Regardless, try swapping input and output sensors. If the problem is in the sensor, then an output shaft sensor DTC should be flagged. e.g. P0722. If it doesn't the problem is in the wiring harness or contact corrosion perhaps. Pray it isn't in the ECM itself!

ok will try that your quite knowledgeable if its the ecu am i done for ! ? or can these be programmed in etc. 

hi and hello everyone could you guys kindly help a new owner of a 2006 alphard its coming up with the usual p0717 code even after the sensor has been replaced goes into 4th gear but than stops as soon as code reappears within short drive, I have a technician ready to look at it but need wiring diagram etc to help could anyone help in getting this back on the road?
