According to the invoice they're all genuine Toyota parts, which would be another reason for high cost. I didn't think to ask for pattern parts, so lesson learned this time. And probably a different mechanic next time.

Hi everyone!
I've owned my Vellfire for a year and a half and already done two super long jaunts across Europe plus countless school runs.
The pic is last year near Montreaux in Switzerland, where Freddy Mercury used to live. Last year we drove around France, Switzerland, some of Germany and Belgium. This year we drove along the French Riviera, Italian Riviera, and all the way down to Naples which is probably the worst city in the world to take a Vellfire (so that was fun!).

I love the Modellista grill. There's another Vellfire near me which has it and it looks really good, but £280+ to buy I think...

Before taking the car back to the mechanic, on a recent surface they told me my ARBs and drop links were "worn" and needed replacing. I was dubious as it's a low mileage car and the underneath is really good for a 2010 vehicle (imported in 2022). I forked out quite a bit of money as had an imminent trip planned to Italy, so having picked up the car and made my way to the EU found there's now a lot of squeaking and knocking.
It's particularly the case on an incline and bumpy roads.
Would this be bushes (polyurethane), lack of grease, or have they not fitted the ARBs or drop links correctly?
Just assuming it's safe. Apart from the irritating noises the car drives fine.

I had intermittent sound since I bought the car and thought it was faulty. Thankfully I replaced the battery before the stereo and that fixed the problem.

basically, all the sidelights, interior lights, number plate lights use the same capless bulbs, with the exception of the small boot illumination bulb, that looks like a fuse shaped bulb.
These type https://www.amazon.co.uk/Autobulbs-Capless-Sidelight-Bulbs-Interior/dp/B009ZJUI90
I replaced all my 5W and 8W capless using LED ones, whiter light, and brighter.

Far far far cheaper than going to halfords or the like, 10 bulbs for under a tenner, I bought 20 and did all bulbs at once (including the ones above the Visors)
This was so useful even 2+ years on! I ordered the very same LED lights which are still available, so thank you!
Much better than the original lights for both sidelights and number plate.

Alphard alloy wheels

Any photos of them on your Alphard?
Possibly from another model of Toyota? I've never seen wheels like that on an Alphard, so would be good to know what they would look like.
