  1. Thanks guys, will get it to a garage in the next couple of days.
  2. Kia Ora, Second post on the fourm, this time I'm looking for some help with a smell. This is the first time we've owned an automatic car, so the closest I can compare the smell to is a burning clutch, but I'm not sure if that's possible? It's happened twice in the last week, once while heading up a mountain road, and once under heavy breaking at the bottom of a mountain road. We did note that the smell wasn't there while climbing the second time, only after reaching the bottom some time after the top of the pass. Has anyone had experience with anything similar? Should I be worried for a hefty repair bill or is it potentially a smell from the breaks? Many thanks, Greg
  3. Hi Rojie, Thanks for your thoughts on this, found another post with a way to turn off the lights permanently by disconnecting the door closure sensors. Hopefully this will do the trick. Also going to get the battery tested by the garage we purchased it from, and if it's not holding the charge they'll replace it for us. Thanks again!
  4. Kia Ora, My partner and I have recently converted a 2009 Velfire into a camper and are currently touring NZ. We're having issues with the battery and have had to jump start the car three times this week. Is there anything that could be causing the battery to drain overnight? Wanted to make sure we're not doing something stupid before fitting a new battery. Many thanks, Greg
