  1. Thanks, was such a relief. I rely heavily on satnav and I get bored on long drives without my music so it was a big deal for me to get it working.
  2. Hi guys, I got it sorted. My neighbour is an electrical engineer and an old school car stereo guy. Turns out the previous owner had made some modifications so that the head unit replacement was a direct swap out despite being made for the vehicle. My neighbour hardwired the permanent and power and then the speakers the way people did in the old days apparently and everything is working great. Just took some time and googling to find which wire did what.
  3. Hi, I recently purchased a hybrid Toyota Alphard. I changed out my stereo for one of the android displays but unfortunately the wiring had been altered in my car so the clips provided were not a straightforward plug and play. I've managed to get the stereo to where it's powering on by wiring it directly however I'm unable to identify the speaker wires or the one for the reverse camera from my Alphard. If I knew which wire was which it would be an easy job to join them. If anyone could give me any advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Shane
