How important are the JDM miles clocked?

Hi, looking at Japanese car auctions, it seems that car with higher mileage loose value very rapidly as can be seen from screenshot below.

 

I personally have an average build JDM with 100K to clock and runs like new, and has never let me down. I really wonder if the 100K plus miles Alphards/Vellfires JDM should be be avoided?

 

Cars with motorway miles in Europe are usually ok. Wonder how the miles clocked on Japanese roads compare? Or is it a very subjective question?

 

I am basically thinking instead of buy a low miles, high auction grade, older model vs newer car with higher miles and similar auction grade.

Off course these are values in Japan; not directly comparable with UK prices.
