Hello I've noticed that on my hybrid battery gauge it seems to only get charged to 75% or 3 out of the 4 green bars? Wondered if this was normal for the age of my vehicle  2004 plate?

Thanks.

Hi, mine shows 3 bars but I have had 4 very occasionally going down long steep hills- I imagine the vehicle used some battery power so it might not get 4 bars much.

My 2006 only shows 3 out of the 4 too.

It will never reach full unless you go down a hill for a very long time and coast in drive. Only ever happened once on my way to dover on the M20…..

You should not coast in any automatic !

When I said Coast. I mean leave it in Drive lift the foot off the pedal and enjoy the gravity recharge your battery. I hope that clears the confusion.
