Hi again.Β

My 2008 Vellfire 2.4 is a type 20, but nowhere on it or literiture can I find the letter type usually seen after the 2.4. I think it may be an S, looking at others, but not sure?

It has 1 electric side door, 1 manual. All electric auto windows, cloth upholstery. I have attached several pictures.

Can someone let me know if they can tell me S,G, etc?

Good luck. They are great vehicles and deserve everything you can put into them!

nice alloys!
Are these 19 inch by any chance or 18? How is the drive on potholes or speedbumps?

Hi again. They are actually 17" rims with 55 low profile tyres. The suspension is perfect; not to hard, but not soft enough to wallow!

Went to my brothers in Wales yesterday and covered 114 miles.

Fitted a cruise control stalk a few weeks ago and as long as traffic is constant speed this makes a hell of a difference to the fuel consumption. Not checked today (filling up later) but had 7 people in the car and it ran beautifully!

Probably getting less mpg than normal, as we had cases in as well, but recon it was about 24-25mpg.

The suspension was down a little bit at the back, (a few larger people) but was extremely comfortable for all.

There were speed bumps in several places, but even with a load on, never caught one!!!

On the way back, with just myself and Erica, we went the scenic way back from Abergele to Wallasey.Β  We did between 40 to 60 mph all the way (67-68 on the M53; maximum speed of the cruise control!). On the windy roads it was brilliant; even when I took a tight bend too fast at 40mph. It leaned over a bit, but stuck to the road like glue!!!

Very pleased. It actually looks lower than it is. It is 61/2" from the road and only scraped one speed bump since I had it. I just have to take them a (little) bit slower. I have to watch when I gave to park nose in to a curb. It has to be standard curb height, also if someone opens the side doors wide and get in heavely; the door bottom edge will ground! Other than that, no problems with the height!

Would thoroughly recommend these vans to anybody (and do!!)Β

@John HarrisonΒ is that even possible to have 17inch tyre and low profile tyres on it?
Β

I thought the total diameter had to remain constant. Bigger the alloy, thinner the tyres. From what I know it doesn't make sense.
Β

By the way 58 mph is perfect, optimum, safe and best for mpg, if it is possible to stick to that speed without causing issue for fellow motorway usersΒ

Sorry, they are 215/60R 17 96H, which is says in my Vellfire book,Β  so right for the car.

They work well 😁😁😁

If you want to know the model, look at the sticker plate inside the front passenger door.

Β

It says MODEL DBA-GGH25W-NFTSK-C ..... thus it's a "NFTSK"

Just had a look on Car.vx at the sample report sheet and noticed it has a section stated "Use History", where it says "Use in contaminated regions" and "Radioactive contamination test fail".

Β

It sort of put me off having a report incase I find something I dont like.

I don't have tons of experience, quite the opposite but I can't see why anyone would not like to see their CarVX.jp report.. It's gold dust on milage recall annual usage etc. but if it was meant to be a joke, my apologiesΒ

I was a joke. Never seen a car report about radioactive contamination.

Β

My car that I have just bought has been in the country for three years, so I don't think there is much point in me getting it. If I was getting one fresh off the boat then I can see it being good.

Remember what happened in 2011.
