We are currently looking for a smallish drive away awning for our 2004 conversion. Not sure whether to get a blow up or frame - any experience anyone?.

Hi. We have a Vango Faros II Air Low which has the Airbeam technology. It has proved reliable and is easy to erect.  Some people have experienced punctures/bursts with the Airbeams but I believe that often these failures have directly resulted from over inflation.  The Airbeams are more expensive than the traditional pole types.  Probably be worth visiting a camping/caravanning specialist which has both types on display to see which you prefer.

As Arthur says above, can be put up by one person and takes no time to erect. Wouldnt know consider a poled awning.

Lots to chose from, but if you have an awning rail, check the attachment length on any awnings. Most are 260 cm, but not every rail is that long.

The Vango attachment is around 240 max, with our rail 235, so fits nicely.
