Pritch Posted June 29, 2022 Share Posted June 29, 2022 I have asked same question, and my garage adv the most important thing to know is, the oil in it already, is it - Synthetic, Part Synthetic, Non Synthetic, as this is the most important thing, but 5W 30 yes. I thought all half decent oils now a days are fully synthetic by default. I was told always follow the oil spec that is on the engine oil cap and you can't go wrong. Alphard Club Posted June 29, 2022 Share Posted June 29, 2022 Oil will run a similar temprature, because its 40 deg outside doesn't really make the oil any hotter. The the right grade then also most importantly specification. For my 3.5 I have 5w30 with A5 specification. Its not just all about Grade.
