Hi. After heavy rain last night, I had water poor from the door pillar lining. I realise it's likely blocked drain holes. 

How do I get to them. Can't even see them.

Also. Where are the bottom drain holes for the water to escape?

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. 

i have a newer vehicle, so not sure if the same, the drainage holes seem to exit in the body work seam, just in front of the jacking point, mine was so blocked, no amount of feeding a wire down would clear it, in the end I blew it through with a tyre inflater!

 

For me, the roof lining around the front sunroof is held with velcro fastening, but in the end, I dropped the front side of the roof lining by removing the side window trim (a pillar) and the B pillar trims, removed the grab handles and sunvisor.

undid the clip holding hose on(front corners of the front sunroof), the moon roof has drains on all 4 corners, the front 2 actually just pass water to the front sunroof channel.

I've read a post about the velcro...but see now evidence of this on my own vehicle (2013).  I can stand through the moonroof and feed wire through to the front pop roof and clear the water, but its only a temporary fix as i need to remove the pop roof glass...cant seem to locate any bolts to unlock the front edge

the velcro is there, it is very strong.

the bolts are covered by plastic L shaped trim.

 

I'll see if I have a photo.

 

edit.. The photos I took are too blurry to be useful, was holding liner whilst trying to take photo.

 

Honestly, if the blockage has traveled far down the tube, dropping the corner of the roof lining is the best solution.

 

You need to remove the visor, the grab handles, the front pillar trim, the bottom, then top middle pillar trim, note the longer can be pulled down, the tube is held on by a clip, be careful of the liquid inside, the water in mine was warm sure to the sun being out, and you don't want any thing like legionnaires disease ( unlikely, but possible).

 

No amount of working and feeding a wire in would clear blockage, so I blew it through at low pressure using a tyre inflator, it's pretty obvious when it clears, as you get about a pint of water running out the bottom of the car.
