Rubber boot for drop links in front suspension  are split and I need to find replacements. Please see the attached picture. Anyone else faced this and found part number or substitute for other Toyota models, if you can share it, that will be much appreciated. I’ll also keep looking. Thank you

You don't need it registered to have a VIN number !

The VIN belongs to the vehicle, not the DVLA.

 

You should find it in the B pillar, passenger side.

It Won't look like a European one, because it isn't.

I checked the EPC myself, and there does not appear to be a rubber boot on there.

There are more than one stay bar, maybe the boot comes attached to the correct one !

If anyone looking for same, I’ve received confirmation that part no we need blueprint is ADT38580 autoharp spare sells them, you can Google perhaps many more vendors

Picasso asked you for the VIN number, which is allocated by Toyota; and is displayed on the B pillar, passenger side.

 

I assumed that, because you said the van wasn't registered, i.e. assigned a registration number, you couldn't provide the VIN number as requested by Picasso.

only issue is how long has this boot not being able to stop the crudd entering the joint...personally I would change the complete arm

Great point! I need to find decent mechanic to get my wish list of checks and preventives started

I replaced mine.. made a big difference in handling. Mine were shot.

Not expensive if you get aftermarket

My Toyota garage replaced mine no problem, but they weren’t cheap.

 For tracking/wheel alignment they had flat fee of 99

£281.78 for replacing both drop links. £89.41 for each link and £95 Labour.

 

Parts 48820-02070 x2 and 90179-12151 x4.

sorry to say but it seems any parts that are not service parts are pretty expensive and not original Manufacture's source  I should have learnt my lesson after owning two bongos

I recently replaced both mine, pretty straight forward with a jack/socket set and checking out YouTube videos.

They only cost £16.95 each from https://www.japeurocarparts.co.uk

Check with them that the parts fit your model with vin number before ordering.

Sure, they're pretty universal, this one is a guy doing one on a Corsa but pretty much the same
