Alphard not starting/electric fault

Recommended Posts

I’ve recently bought a 2007 alphard 2.4l that has an electrical fault and will not start.  There’s no power to the mirrors, windows, sliding doors, climate, central locking, interior lights and radio, however, when I put the key in the ignition turn it, the display lights up, the immobiliser light goes out but then when you go to start nothing happens. Battery is charged and ok, checked the main fuses ... I have replaced the AM1 fuse recommended in an earlier post which has not fixed the problem, any suggestions greatly received. If i solve this before a reply i will post up what it was incase it happens to anyone else. thanks in advance. Garry

battery needs to be better than OK; it needs to be tip top in cold weather.
