Gerrymclean
Hi All, I have a 2003 3 litre alphard with and I have rad articles which say you much change all the tyres at the same time otherwise it affects the computer system that controls the all wheel drive system.Any thoughts,? Thanks
dugii
I would be more worried about the transferbox. AWD systems will eat tyres equaly, if you only change one pair you can create a difference in rotation speed between the axels which will have to be compensated by the transfercase this can lead to premature faults etc. As a rule of thumb you should have all 4 tyres changed at the same time, and they should all be the same size etc.
Gerrymclean
Hi I have two perfectly good tyres (1200 miles) and need to change the other 2. Do I throw the good tyres away?

Why would you ? Give them away to a 2wd Alphie owner. Keep them in the Community. Perhaps you should declare their size and place them in the For Sale section.
