Looking to buy, which one

Hi I have just started to look into buying one of these. I've seen plenty avertised but really wondering which to choose and what spec's are. I believe the 2.4 would be my preferred so would anyone know what kind of MPG that would achieve and am I correct in thinking  it's £270 pa to pay for road tax.

I've also see the the hybride too. So are these ok do their onboard battery last over the 15 years (yes I realise the engine charges when running) so are these reliable and again what kind of mpg and road tax would I have? I'm asking about the technology reliability as I'm seeing cars circa 2003 -2007 Any true info would be appreciated thanks
