Does anyone know, why the back door opening button not working on the key remote of my Toyota Alphard 2012 ANH20W

It could mean you don’t have a power back door(?), or if you do that the remote has been replaced.

I have an earlier model.

 

It seems to me you need to get the correct key fob(s) and get them professionally programmed.

 

I assume you have fitted a new battery for the side door to work ?

Do you mean the sliding doors? Or the actual back door/boot/luggage hatch? 

 

That remote does not have a back door button on it. 

 

If you mean the sliding doors, your ecu may be set to double click, long press or single click and may need to unlock drivers door first.

Thanks Chris for your response, yes are right. I wasn’t pressing it down for long enough. It’s working now. Do you know how we can change the display language from Japanese to English? Thanks for ur support. Afrasiab

Depends on headunit, some are the models used on exports, others are japanese market only.
