  1. Ha - what do you know! I’ve got one stashed in the same place. Clever these Toyota engineers.
  2. We spoil ourselves with 4, including 2 kids and often the dog, who gets her own seat also. Load of room to luxuriate in the middle row, and with the back seats folded up readily consumes bikes and racing gear or luggage for a family trip. Great vehicle.
  3. We’ve occasionally used all 7 seats and agree the middle seat of the back row is not for regular use; my normally-resilient ‘tweenager’ was not comfortable, even between two other slender young adults.
  4. I did. There was a thread on here about adding the USBs to the rear console - I uploaded photos to this to show the wiring of the sockets (available on eBay, Amazon etc) and of bypassing the inverter. The rest is plug and play, using the factory-fit CVBS sockets.
  5. One of the biggest draws for us also - and with the electric captains chairs we have, it’s a pretty decent experience indeed! I’ve also replaced the 100V sockets on the back of the centre console with USB A and C chargers for them, and installed a Fire TV stick through HDMI to CVBS converter on the VTR input so they can use YouTube, Disney, Netflix etc.
  6. Plenty of information on service items here on this website. For the other part numbers use something like toyota.epc-data.com
  7. The schematic you posted has front left/ rear left in one of them (presumably the passenger side) and front right/ rear right in the other.
  8. Worth a look in the technical guides forum. I dropped some photos in there of the connections/ wiring in the centre console and at the inverter under the driver’s seat. I retained the switch so haven’t checked the wiring behind - but attached photo at least show the location. Dom.
  9. Those little metal cylinders in your sump are evidence of a roller bearing failure - sorry. It’s very likely that bits of hardened steel escaping a bearing will have done further damage elsewhere. Did you also drop the strainer? A full inspection and rebuild likely more expensive than sourcing a replacement (used, possibly refurbished) gearbox.
  10. Is the orange switch your rear fog light? If so then I don’t know what the black one could be for!
  11. The Opie site returns the same Bosch AR70N and AR13U I’ve already fitted, and posted details of. Close - not perfect! Also a Hella set that look to be the same sizes. Interestingly not the H409 rear I’ve successfully fitted.
  12. I put some Bosch part numbers for both front and rear in the parts thread on the technical forum. They’re not perfect - there’s a small section left unwiped at the left hand extremity of the right hand blade when viewed from inside the car (ie in front of the passenger, between the two blades at the base of the screen).
  13. Google Translate lens on your phone is the best bet - there is no option to change the language on the head unit or dash.
