Sam Kittim Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Does anyone have a suggestion for the purpose of the small black rocker switch in the photo attached. Positioned low beneath the right hand switches on my Alphie 2010 240X.
anotherdom Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Is the orange switch your rear fog light? If so then I don’t know what the black one could be for!
Sam Kittim Posted April 21, 2023 Author Posted April 21, 2023 Yes, the orange rocker is the UK fog lights.
Babu Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 (edited) Why did they drill a hole rather than us one of the unused switch spaces just above 🤦♂️. As to what it is, if it's not a fog light, the answer could be anything, and no one is better placed to work it out than you. Edited June 26, 2023 by Rojie Word removed
kristoff Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 So poorly positioned switches . Name and shame garage that did it . As to the black find out if you had any electrics to the back as some places run relay operated from drivers position
Chris.ac Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 Id say the black switch is for those aftermarket LED footwell lights. Why they didnt just reuse the existing loom, or retrofit the correct LEDs from the higher speced vehicles blows my mind.
Philllx Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 The black one could have been for a "remote engine start', got one on mine but been disconnected
