Hi all just after advice,

I am looking for a Vellfire 3.5z in purple

Now I think I want a 4wd as my current Estima is 4wd and I also live in the Cairngorms.

Does anybody regulary use all 7 seats on long journeys? I'm just wondering how comfy it will be as I have 5 children.

Hello Peter,

Welcome to the Forum.

I have an earlier model, but I think your family will find the all seats and facilities quite marvellous.

You say that but the ones who sat in the middle on the back row said it wasn't very comfy at all

If someone can't get comfy in the middle row of an Alphard or vellfire then short of a long wheelbase Rolls Royce Phantom they ain't going to be comfy in any car...

The rear seats are not, imho, designed for long distance; but a smaller child should be OK.

Maybe you should be thinking of an 8 seater, if one is available.

But I don't think they are for the Gen 2 vehicles.

We’ve occasionally used all 7 seats and agree the middle seat of the back row is not for regular use; my normally-resilient ‘tweenager’ was not comfortable, even between two other slender young adults.

Agreed...as a 6 seater it is perfection though!

We spoil ourselves with 4, including 2 kids and often the dog, who gets her own seat also. Load of room to luxuriate in the middle row, and with the back seats folded up readily consumes bikes and racing gear or luggage for a family trip. Great vehicle.
