Hi there

Just bought a 2003 Alphard to go with the Vellfire (it was getting lonely) and have found that not all the instrument LEDs are lighting up, including the odometer reading. Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem. I've had the cluster apart and all the LEDs are surface soldered to the main board, so I can't replace anything. Other than the main board being faulty, somebody has chipped this to read in mph, so maybe the wiring could be a problem, but the dealer who did it way back when has a good rep and I can't imagine they would let it out of the shop like that.

Unfortunately some chips go awol and cause problems, other wise its a matter of soldering on new leds but first check that they are getting a voltage on them
