Just got a 2002 Alphard V 3L

It came with a broken “carmate” remote starter. I haven’t had success finding a new fob. Or if that even works?

Wondering if anyone has had success installing a remote starter on a pre facelift First gen ? If so what make and model remote starter did you use?

cheers

The problem with remote starters is that insurance companies will not pay out if the vehicle is nicked after you have very kindly made it easier for it to be stolen

Where I live in Canada there isn’t much auto theft. But it’s cold and I would like to heat the van up before driving it.

Hi. I have a 2008 2.4 Vellfire.

My remote starter hunt worked since I bought the car. I have changed the battery twice but to no avail. The good news is that it has a blue light on it that flashes and seems to be a deterant to thieves. Most people would think it is another alarm!
