Ticking sound before start up 2.4 alphard

This morning before I started the van heard an intermittent ticking sound. Engine started first time ticking sound went off however after a short run switched off engine, key out of ignition intermittent ticking sound started again.

Not much to go on John.

 

Is the ticking regular? What frequency? Whereabouts, in the cabin or from engine bay? Everything working as normal?

Thanks for your input. Ticking/beep sound was coming  from cabin area. Sound now seems to have disappeared and everything is working okay.
