Hi all quick question ...every time I apply the brakes on my 2003 2.4 Alphard a orange warning light that looks like a headlight  comes on top left of the binnacle I've not noticed it before I've checked all the lights and they are working fine has anyone ideas  .cheers. andy

are you able to atatch a photo of warning light 

This is it the orange light in-between the two clocks...only comes on when I brake

Rear fog light perhaps; that's what my Owners Manual suggests.

 

Did you check that one ?

Get someone to stand behind your vehicle who will hopefully tell you what happns when you press th brake pedal

rear fog lamp warning light as you maybe aware alphards have a fog lamp fitted to meet iva regulations normally there is a switch added to work the fog lamp it seems yours has this light on dash mine dont just checked i think you got a bad earth some where or your importer has fitted fog lamp and some how triggard this light on your dash i have atatched a photo from my hand book and circled in red. what you need to do is get some one to stand behind your vehicle see if fog lamp comes on when they press the brake peddle
