Hello Pete,

ย

have you made any modifications to your machine recently ?

ย

Chris.ac is a whiz on most things electrical, and is located very close to you.

ย

He will probably respond to this quite quickly, but if not you could send him a Personal Message.

ย I fitted a dash cam, as stated on a previous post I was going to hardwire it by piggybacking a fuse with a kit I bought but in the end I just used a lead to connect to a usb for power.

ย

Where are the sensors located? are they the four blocks on top of the screen? if so the only thing I think I could of done is dislodge something while pushing the dash cam lead behind the linings?

You may have accidentally turned off or lowered the auto lights setting in the infotainment system. Finding it maybe tricky, i use Google translate over the camera helps.

I've got an Android system fitted and I've definitely not touched any of the settings.

sensors are on top of the dash itself, either the black dome or the silver sensor, i forget which one.

Top Windscreen sensor is for Autowipe wipers

๐Ÿ˜† I recently bought a dash mat, thought the dome thing was a GPS, I'll go test it now with the mat ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

I have a dash mat. Carefully located they will not obscure the light sensor.

Thanks everyone, yep the front dash mat was covering the sensor, getting to learn what all these bits and pieces do on the car with the help from this forumย ๐Ÿ‘
