Hi, new to the forum. I’m looking to purchase an Alphard but I’m having problems trying to find a company who will insure the 2.4 version. Admiral would only quote for the 3 litre. Just looking to see if anyone has any advice

Have you clicked on the Ins tab at the top of the page - Adrian Flux Ins ?

I’m waiting on Adrian Flux getting back to me. And thank you for the list, I’ll check them out.

Just had AF revert to me for my 55 plate...3.0........blimey £700 !!!

Wasn't expecting that tbh....

Try Aviva, they came Up very good for me, about £230 on a ‘55 v6.

AF came back with a quote of £490 for a 2.4 and Admiral £300 for a 3.0 on a 2004.

I just need to decide what size engine would be best.

Brian, maybe a silly question, but is this for the converted model (campervan), or the standard 8 seater model, as not getting anywhere close to these figures...

Seems soon as I mention 'imported' 'converted'. 'campervan'...up it goes

That was just for the standard 8 seater. My friends mum has a converted Alphard 3 litre and I think her insurance is ok.
When I was considering buying a hybrid version the insurance was into four figures

I have been quoted 3 grand by Adrian flux

No surprise to me.

Their quotes seem to vary enormously !

There is a thread on this Forum for Insurance, where many owners disclose their Insurers and Premiums

Search for it.

Generally, you should be looking at 300 to 400 pounds.
