Rusty door cables

Recommended Posts

Hi there!

This is my first time writing a post (very happy to have found this forum)...

The cable that is visible on the sliding door on my Alphard - Underneath the window (nearside)

has gone very rusty and has started making a horrible noise when we open it.

I only need the cable (rest of the door is OK). does anyone know if it's possible to buy this

on it's own? I only seem to be able to find kits and they're quite expensive, it's going to cost £300

to fit at the garage... It seeming like quite a costly thing to replace for something so small ;)
