geraint Posted Thursday at 11:37 AM Posted Thursday at 11:37 AM Any advice appreciated. My boot has stopped working - it does not open manually or via remote/button in the front. It is the motorised version. I did change the car battery a few weeks ago and it was working as usual for while. When I try to manually open the boot it does not unlock, but with the fob in my pocket it does unlock the vehicle (but not the boot). So far I have tried: Disconnecting the car battery for a minute then reconnecting - no change Checking 30A fuse (fuse 20 in the passenger side) - not melted I can manually open the boot from the inside by gaining access to the lever by removing the trim on the inside of the boot It may be the motor has failed but would like to rule out other causes before I order part (any recommendations) and take all the trim off to gained access.

Hello Geraint, Welcome to the Forum. There is an owner in Glasgow who has produced a Youtube video on this issue. I am desperately trying to remember his name ! He is also a member of this Forum. Have you looked in our video section, it may be posted there. I remember:- Cuttothechase. It may be helpful, maybe not.
geraint Posted Thursday at 09:02 PM Author Posted Thursday at 09:02 PM Thank you for the video link - have watched it! Some useful advice although it is for the earlier (02-08) model and my mechanics seem ok. Thank again
