Hi. I have a 2007 alphard and am looking for European breakdown cover any suggestions.

You would want to double check this, but I'm pretty sure the Nationwide FlexPlus account includes both world wide travel insurance and European breakdown cover (including campervans from what I recall).  It's about £18 per month - might be worth considering if you're willing to change bank account.

When I travelled frequently in Europe, not in an Alphie, I used SAGA.

 

Multiple trips of indefinite length cover, but it was an all inclusive policy; not just breakdown.

Nationwide Flex plus+ current account. £18 a month and it gives personal AA European breakdown cover with no age limit on the vehicle, and Alphards are well inside the AAs size limits. It also has travel insurance and gadget insurance.

 

I simply opened the account and pay the monthly fee. No need to actually use the account or transfer your existing current account to get the benefits.
