Pop top mattress or mat

Hello campers,

I'm searching for the best option that owners have found for their pop top either mattress or inflatable mat. Ideally I'd like not to have to pack it away each time and keep it stored in the 5cm gap when the pop top is down, but I'm open to other suggestions. The width of the opening is just 82cm or 94cm across the full width and the length 183cm from the edge of the opening to the back or 224cm in full. Only one person is going to sleep up there so I wondered what the options are for a reasonably comfortable nights sleep.

I have the Outwell Dreamcatcher 12cm XL self-inflating mat. I open the bung when I close the poptop, and when the top goes up it automatically self inflates....just remember to put the bung back before you lie on it! Yep I've forgotten before now and it's such a letdown.

Thanks Sunny, so you are able to leave it up there permanently and there is no issue when you pull down the pop top?
