  1. Hello again, It seems that as a newbie, I didn’t introduce myself very well in my first post, so I’ll try again. My name is John Kirk, I’m 73 and a retired engineer living in Newcastle upon Tyne, although a Scot by birth. I am very keen on the ‘Dayvan’ type of vehicle, and I have owned 2 American Chevy Starcraft dayvans in the past. But they were both LHD and my wife wouldn’t drive them. However, very recently I discovered the Aphard Executive Lounge and the Royal Lounge, and I have to say that I am very impressed with their comfort, but most importantly, they are RHD, which means my wife will drive them. So I’m anxiously looking for one. Thankfully, I have found this Alphard forum and I’m looking forward to learning all about these great vehicles. Cheers John
  2. Hello, I’m a newbie, just signed up. Can someone help me please? I am seriously considering buying an Alphard Executive Lounge, but I have one problem! Is it possible to eradicate the Japanese voice that I am hearing all the time that is obviously prompting with instructions? As a non Japanese speaker, I know it will drive me up the wall. Is it as simple as changing the radio, or is it something more complicated? Many thanks. John
