  1. UPDATE: after looking deeper in to it and replaying the starter along with varies other things turns out the timing has skipped. Will be having it sorted in a few weeks time. But hopefully the issue will be resolved Thank you all for your comments.
  2. UPDATE: Now thinking timing has skipped and will be delving deeper into it and checking timing ect
  3. At the moment my main am is to at least get it running but will be purchasing a spare sooner rather than later
  4. Only got one key with the car unfortunately. Is there a way of trying to reprogramme it?
  5. Fuel pump seems to be working fine had it out earlier today and was working good. Yet to check at injectors
  6. So around 3 weeks ago I brought an alphard. 2006 2.4 petrol all was great for about 20 miles. Now cranks but no start anyone have any ideas? I have replaced battery, coil packs sparkplugs and it's throwing no codes just cranks and nothing more. I'm at a dead end now and have no idea what to try next. Obvious steps were taken it's got a full battery and is in park.
  7. Hi Gamith, Surely if it was an alternator it would have jump started but literally just cranks and that's it.
  8. Hi Rojie, thanks for your response Brought it privately and seller has blocked me completely and close the account it was being advertised on. It was running great the pulled up for a quick loo break and upon return just cranks over doesn't fully start. The battery was brand new on when I brought the car now I've been trying to get it going I've drained the battery completely. I now have a recovery guy collecting me for a very reasonable price. I've had people trying jump me but nothing has happened. Once I've got the old bus home I'm planning on stripping her down testing compression ect
  9. Hi guys new here. I purchased a 2006 Alphard 2.4 petrol (non hybrid) 2 days ago and had it breakdown on me 30 miles from where I collected it. Currently cranks but won't start. Has fuel and spark and now at a point I don't know what to try. My breakdown cover won't cover me as its a new policy and recovery is £800 +. Currently sat in Leicester 167 miles from home with no way of getting anywhere and now my battery is completely flat. If anyone is in the Leicester area and is a bit more clued up that wouldn't mind taking a look I would much appreciate it as I'm at a point where I have no more money to put into it until next week and literally have no clue what to do after being stuck in it for 3 days now. If anyone has any ideas would be much appreciated
