is there a reason you say its a blessing not to have lane keep assist? also retrofitting cruise - i assume this is regular cruise as opposed to radar cruise Also its interesting that you say to avoid the features that surely make the japanese cars so attractive. can you explain why these features are not recommended?

Looking to buy a 3l series 10 alphard. I currently drive a acr50 estima and I thought the 30 was more robust so it makes me think early model better but I may be wrong. I would love, though, to have mod cons like Lane control and radar cruise, I have read that these are available but struggling to find. What symbol would show this? Also does the Lane control (more common) actually adjust steering or just warn? Is it also correct that it only works with original head unit? What options would others recommend? Is the standard "adaptive dampers" sometimes referred to as air suspension worth it Many thanks
