I do not have a remote for my rear video unit, how can I get it working? It has power and comes on but I cannot show anything. What do I need to do to my head unit to make it work or do I need a remote control?

Hi have taken ownership of a shiny 2005 2.4 G, should be a lot of fun and learning so hopefully I can gather info on what it is I have, what might I need to UKfy it and maybe get some pointers on the "you can do this" or "beware of this" from everyone on here. It looks quite basic but maybe there is a chance to pimp it up a bit. I know I need a new head unit as the original unit was removed and not replaced with a UK version so I have a space with cables and plugs to attach to something
