  2. @Earl try a steering wheel from a toyota land cruiser Prado, not sure if it will be the same color as yours but the steering wheel looks exactly the same, I have the greyish interior and the Prado wheel looks exactly like mine.
  3. @ThuMentaliss, thanks I guess the offset of my wheels are wrong I am using 235/40/19 in the rear and 225/40/19 in front. Rear was still rubbing, using a 5mm spacer in the rear, works a treat.
  4. @Clives Alf another option is to fit a radio from another toyota. I have a radio from a 2006 Toyota Hilux / Fortuner unfortunately no screen, but steering controlls will work. 2006 Toyota Prado / Toyota Avensis, steering controlls will work, reverse cam wil need to be re pinned to work, and in order for maps to work you will probably need the GPS antenna from that vehicle. Then i have another toyota DVD radio also from a toyota hilux, seems to be the closest fit for the Alphard, steering controlls work, as well as the front camera, the plug for the reverse camera is different on that radio.
  5. hi i had the same problem on my V6, i had oil leaking from front and rear covers. the oil leaked onto the exhaust manifolds. bought the gaskets at my Local toyota dealer. word of Caution, the Lexus RX300 intake gasket does not fit, when i replaced my gaskets, i replaced the spark plug gaskets and Spark plugs all in one go as it is quite a mission to get to the rear cover. just check if the bolts on the tappet cover is tight, when i started i saw that mine was all loose, hence the Leak.
  6. hey guys, i want to fit a towbar to my Alphard, but unfortunately it is not available here, so decided to make one myself. a friend of mine is a qualified Welder so he will be doing the job. anyone that has a towbar fitted or one laying around upload some photos if possible please. also is the holes where it is mounted already there or should holes be drilled? any information will be appreciated. TIA
  7. hi some information regarding the TEMS system. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Electronic_Modulated_Suspension
  8. easiest and quickest would be to lay under the vehicle at the rear, if you have 4wheel drive it should have a diff and propshaft, the front wheel drive version just have a normal solid axle, if you had the 2,4 it would be easier to see by looking at the gearbox from under the bonnet, there you can easily see a propshaft or not depending on which one you have, hope that helps
  9. i had the same problem on mine, it turned out to be the ribbon cable, i replaced it then it still did not work, turned out it also blew a fuse under the glove box
  10. cool, i will try thanks
  11. Hi guys, i have a 2002 Mnh10 V6 Alphard MS model, when i got the vehicle i only got 1 key that looks like the service key, i believe it should have a 2 button key. Anyway i bought a new 3 button key, its programmed, starts the vehicle, also locks and unlocks the doors, but unfortunately the windows does not roll down or up when i press and keep the button in, can anyone guide me as to how to program the windows please. attached is a photo of the new key i got. thanks in advance
  12. i am also looking, what size tyres are you using? i had 255/35/19 but it was rubbing against the rear axle.
  13. hi, @Craigb you switch it on on the steering wheel, the camera goes on automatically when you put it in Drive, when you start driving it will go off, but when you slow down just before you come to a standstill it will come on again.
  14. hi all, new to the forum and thought i would introduce myself. I recently got delivery of a 2002 Alphard V spec V6 MS model with dual sun roofs. Lovely vehicle indeed. Looking forward to interacting with all of you.
