Diy route, you can buy (about £ 160) from AliExpress or alibaba, a generic Toyota compatible box. 

The one i bought a few years ago used the phono input/aux input and i used the kit to splice into the touch screen on the headunit (there is a small switch that flips between the box input and the original headunit input, for navigating around the screen.

I've not found the same supplier, but there are a few around. 

I don't think I've seen an adaptor that takes  the MOST signal from the headunit and converts to an rca.

The closet i have seen is an amp bypass adaptor, or the converter you linked that allows you to retain the amplifier (both assume headunit replacement)

The other auxiliaries like auto parking and cameras and rear screen use GVIF ( gigabit video interface)

There must exist an adaptor that converts most to RCA, maybe another Toyota model?

The 20 series doesn't use fibre optic, although aliexpress refer to it as an optical converter. 

Most doesn't use the canbus, it's a separate network. 

The headunit does all the work, so of you are replacing it, it's irrelevant if you are bypassing the amplifier.

That adaptor is used for aftermarket headunits to convert their analogue outputs into a most signal to the amplifier. 

If you are removing the headunit and amplifier, you don't need that converter

The toggle button is aftermarket, may be linked to additional interior lighting or daylight running lights, you'll have to check.

Not sure to understand the point. 

This kit is to enable a non oem unit to connect to the oem amplifier. 

If you are bypassing the amplifier, you don't need this kit.

Maybe state what it is exactly you are trying to do? 

If you want to use the connections to the oem speakers directly, the sockets at the amplifier are wired like this.

You can also use the button on the steering wheel to select the eco display on the dash, so you can see how hard you are accelerating.

The eco button is really just the opposite of a 'sports' button that some Toyota have, it just softens the accelerator response. 

I turned off the eco light as it was distracting flashing on and off.

I believe the folding when locking is an aftermarket module they may have installed (previous owner).

You can buy these modules on AliExpress. 

The auto tilt mirrors are not installed on every model, you appear to have a base level vehicle.

The auto tilt requires the mirror that has the additional motor wiring and hall effect sensors, often combined with the electrically adjustable drivers seat and seat memory ecu.

If your driver's seat is manually adjustable rather than using buttons, you will not have auto tilt mirrors or auto folding. 

The fold mechanism is just holding the signal at ground, which is what an aftermarket module will do in combination with the central locking signal.

Ah ok, you do not have the more advanced auto mirror system installed.

You need to purchase a generic/Toyota compatible box from somewhere like AliExpress. 

You will need one that has an rca output. 

The box will usually come with either an external controller or a touchscreen interface board. 

I opened the screen and used a ribbon cable to connect to the touchscreen that has a switch to select of the touchscreen settings signal to the carplay box, or the official headunit. 

I  interrupted the parking brake signal to the headunit so that the aux video remains on when car is in motion.

When i have insert dvd. It automatically lowered on both screens, i can use the dual option to only show it in rear, if disk is switched off it mirrors the front.

On yours the cd/dvd is greyed out which means you dont have a dvd inserted out recognised

Ooh. You have the Malaysian headunit that has English language. 

The dual button on the rear screen allows you to have separate source between the front seats and the rear, including splitting the audio so the front 8 speakers are used for phone call, radio/music, and the rear 10 for the dvd etc. 

Your interface is slightly different to mine,, but there should be an option on the headunit to select video source

What switch is fitted in the position where the folding mirror switch should be?

Please post photo of the switches either side of the steering wheel. 

It's possible, a previous owner in Japan moved the physical switch behind the dash panel in order to free up the slot for something else. 

The fact your mirrors appear to have motors means there should be the wiring and therefore the switch in place.

There are 3 mirror types.

One is completely manual ( only has control for adjusting glass)

One has fold and unfold via motor and a rocker switch. 

One has motor and rocker switch with an additional auto position. 

It's possible you have the second option, and an aftermarket module that uses the central locking signal to logic switch between the open/close states.

To determine if you have the 2nd or 3rd option, check if you have auto tilt mirrors.

With vehicle in reverse gear, flip the mirror adjust button ( the left right toggle between the center neutral position and either left or right. 

In the center position the mirror should be as normal, when moved to the left or right, the mirror will automatically adjust so the mirror tilt down to show the road.

Could you share photo of the rear screen, to be sure it's the original or aftermarket?

Do they work from the actual doors handles? 

If not, have you turned them off from the button on the dash?
