  1. As far as I am aware from 2006 onwards all imports are ULEZ compliant. Live in Glasgow and not had any issues.
  2. I’ve had a very similar problem. It was the speed chip sensor that had been added to change kph to mph. Fitted behind the speedo cluster.
  3. It’s just normal wear and tear. The car is after all 17 years old. You’ve done all your homework make your purchase and enjoy. They are fantastic cars.
  4. I had the same problem and it was the maf sensor.
  5. Soundmaster in Barrhead is very good. Ask for Gordon.
  6. Search on eBay for Toyota key programmer. It’s a small green box with a tiny switch on reverse side. Around £20.
  7. Bought a programmer off eBay for £20. It works a 100% for the immobiliser. Sometimes it doesn’t program in the door buttons but there’s a manual way of doing it if you look up YouTube. It’s all very straight forward.
  8. Hi try resetting each window by using its own switch. Put the window fully down by holding the button and once down hold the button for about a further 10 seconds. This should reset each one and this will then let you use the drivers door switch for all windows. Good luck !
