  1. Cheers Smurf, I will get the garage to take a look when it has it's service
  2. Cheers, It only happens when either in drive and I have my foot on the brake or in reverse but goes away when I move. In reverse I can feel the vibration in the whole van
  3. It's definitely coming from the rear, I have it booked in for a full service soon so will have my garage take a look.
  4. Hey Picasso, thanks I got it from them and took there today. They had a look but it didn't do it when I showed them but did when I got home. Was just looking anyone may have had a similar issue. Cheers
  5. Thanks Rojie, sorry I should have said I've had the van 2 years now and no more warranty. I live very close to the dealer and just popped in for some advice. They are very helpful.
  6. Hi all. Hope everyone is good. My automatic Alphard has developed an issue with vibration and a loud rattle. This happens when I slow down to a stop when in drive and have my foot on the brake, I can feel a vibration and rattle. As soon as I move it goes away. It's worse then in reverse and I have to brake but still in reverse. It doesn't do it all the time and sods law didn't do it when I took the van to the dealer I got it from. Any advice on the possible cause when be appreciated. Thanks VID_20240425_114923.mp4
  7. Hi all, hope everyone is good. Last week my Alphard decided to leak all of its coolant. Ordered a new radiator and while waiting for it to arrive i thought I would investigate the leak and removed the grill . I can't see the leak but can see coolant but I then noticed that there is a massive wet patch on the Aircon condenser, I've been looking to get a replacement condenser but have been quoted silly money for one at £850! I've googled them and other cars seem alot cheaper but can't find one for the alphard. If anyone knows any info on replacements that would be much appreciated. Thanks
  8. Hi All, we were so excited to attend the meet but sadly due to work commitments have to withdraw. Hope you all have a great day and hope to see some pictures. We look forward to the next one.
  9. Hi all, Just picked up a 2007 Alphard camper conversion and we love the Alphard. We have never used a leisure battery before and wondered if someone could help with a quick question. We have a Sargent ec30 panel in the back, we are unsure of which position to have the power switch when we are on hook up power? Position 1 is vehicle, middle is off and 2 is leisure battery which should we have it on when hooked up? Thanks in advance for any help EC30-Instructions (1).pdf
  10. Hi Oldwellhouse, thanks for the info on yours. We are not so concerned with more power as long as we can get were we are going. And we have really fallen in love with the Alphard now. Cheers
  11. Hi Rojie, thanks for the info. We won't be doing very long journeys in it to be honest. Yes we have looked at the LPG conversions for the future. I guess the question I need to work out is, the van conversion is superb and it's ready to go. We could maybe spend a while trying to find a 3.0 and save some money on fuel and have abit more go. We have a decision to make as test driving tomorrow.
  12. Thanks Picasso, yes it's a 2.4. Have researched that and I see some people don't mind the 2.4 and others say not good. Got a test drive this week, it's just the 2 of us who will be using it.
  13. Hi Odd couple, Thanks for the reply. That makes us feel better, it's alot of money and not having much knowledge of the vans it's hard to know if the price is right. I looked at the company who did the conversion and looks like quality work. Cheers.
  14. Hi all, New to Alphards and we have just discovered them and fallen for one at a local dealer. It's 2007 ,64000 miles with a great brand new conversion. Being new to them we are unsure on the price it is which is £26000. We know that we could buy one and get it converted but this will I guess take alot of time and the one we have seen is pretty much ready to go, so will pay a premium for that. Have looked online for others for sale and but still unsure on the price. Any advice would be appreciated to see if it's worth it. Thanks Mark and Becky
