I was also forced, but grateful, to use Adrian Flux after going round all the insurers - My Toyota Regius 3.0 TD was insured by Direct Line for 15 years without a claim. I got my Alphard 3.5 November a year ago and Direct Line simply transferred the Regius insurance to the Alphard. Then in June when renewal came up they told me they would no longer insure me. I pointed out that the Alphard and Velfire were basically the same car, but it fell on deaf ears, simply, it was not on their data base. I also had a Nissen 350Z and a Lexus 430SC insured with them and never a claim. So much for their TV adverts - Direct Line are no longer recommended by me to my friends and collegues and anyone else out there.
