  1. Hello Picasso and Big Nev, Many thanks both for your input. Yes, I have photos of the melted ECU. The investigating garage suggest the damage caused to blow 30amp fuses, blown transistors, capacitors and resistors was voltage overload. Very long story! Definitely ongoing feud with the original garage. In the meantime, if possible I would like to get it running again. If anyone has ideas to source another ECU?? Thank you for reading 🀞🀞
  2. Any advice will be much appreciated, thank you. My Alphard 2003, 3 litre has had the ECU corrupted at a garage, subsequently doesn't recognise the key and immobiliser. (inside the ECU had melted). Another garage suggested replacing ECU, so that at least an OBD could pinpoint the area of damage in the loom. Where to go for a replacement ECU please??
  3. Advice please, 2003 Alphard V6. Recently had timing belt replaced, noticeably quieter engine afterwards. In past couple of weeks on cold start I can hear drumming noise, just briefly. Doesn't appear to happen on subsequent journeys. Could it be tappets?
  4. Thank you Rojie, if you can pass on his contact info, will appreciate it 😊
  5. Thank you, I don't think I have any that you mentioned, 2003 v6. Going to Halfords. Fingers crossed 😊
  6. Thanks for your reply, I am looking for recommendations from other owners. At present just have reversing beep, which doesn't warn about any specific distance from obstacles. Wondering what options there are?
  7. I would like to have reversing sensors fitted to my Alphard. Recommendations please 😊
  8. I have just removed a double seat from my 2003 Alphard with the runners. It did swivel and laid flat. They are for sale 😊
  9. Many thanks Nov 😁
  10. Greetings from Devon. I have just acquired a 2003 Alphard V6. Excited, happy to be here!
  11. Hello everyone, I have just bought Alfie Alphard V6. Would like to convert it to LPG, however it appears that there might be difficulties filling up with gas in my local area. I looked online for national filling stations, seems more further east and north. Should I be thinking it is going to be an issue finding Lpg? πŸ€”
