Aren't these part numbers in the Servicing section in this Forum.
I have not checked, but have the recollection that they are.
I find this site is great ->> https://toyota-club.net/files/02_st-expl.htm

its a paper cartridge that goes into the oil filter holder, rather than the throw away can type.
Attached pdfs
2gr oil prep.pdf 202.22 kB · 12 downloads 2gr oil filter removal.pdf 397.36 kB · 15 downloads 2gr oil filter location.pdf 236.37 kB · 15 downloads
sorry its probably stupid question, where to find the part number for oil filter from the PDFs? I was going to head to local Eurocarpart / GSF - I feel lost when I need to tell them what is dreaded 'PART NUMBER" for air filter, cabin filter, engine oil, coolant, spark plug and so on.. I find it all too taxing to figure out..

Follow this to the 'T' and it should work no problem with the smart fobs to open and close the doors (It looks convoluted, but worked for me on 1st attempt)
Before starting make sure you have no mobile phone in your possession/close by.
1. Sit in the drivers seat - Driver door open, key out of ignition
2. Within 5 seconds, place key in ignition and take it out x 2 (Do not turn key)
3. Within 40 Seconds, close the drivers door and open x 2
4. Put key back in ignition (Do not turn key) and take it out
5. Within 40 Seconds, close the drivers door and open x 2
6. Key back in ignition and leave it in
7. Close drivers door
8. Turn key in ignition (Without starting car)
9. Turn key back and take key out of the ignition
(The door locks should automatically do a cycle - If nothing happens, you've done something wrong and will have to restart the re-programming again from the start)
Once the door locks have did their cycle :
10. Within 40 seconds press lock and unlock buttons on fob together for 2 secoonds
11. Then press lock button on fob for 2 seconds (The door locks should do a cycle again, if they do not complete a cycle, repeat step 10 and 11 again. If the door locks cycle twice, it also means that the re-programming has failed so repeat steps 10 and 11 again)
I wonder if this works for 2nd Gen Alphards/Vellfires?

I purchased this workshop manual on a memory stick for £30, seems ok.
Can you please share where you purchased it?
Is it pdf format? Which generation? Thanks

By the way I thought it will be pdf of a book that can be viewed on the go but it is more a software with turns and roundabout. So if car breaks down, need to have laptop handy?
I don't have experience with this, may be this is standard approach of viewing workshop manuals? We got some experts in group who might be able to comment

1 I ordered it using the link shared above and was easy to pay via apple pay - 8 quid
2 Got email screenshot as below (Spanish mail)
3. Downloaded the.rar file
4. Extracted it (using 7.zip - if helps anyone)
5. There is a video mp4 showing how to install some Chrome add on extension
6. Screenshot show what is in the folder
I'll need to dust off a spare burner laptop to install anything and see how it works.. Might take time when I get to that..
That's my update so far

I found a copy of this manual that has been fully translated into English and is a searchable PDF
The price seems to change daily, but I paid £8 for it a few weeks ago. https://manualtaller.com/en/products/manual-de-taller-toyota-alphard-2002-2008-manual-taller?_pos=3&_psq=alph&_ss=e&_v=1.0
Thankyou very much for sharing this 👏👏
I've ordered one. How long does it take for the electronic delivery/email? I've just ordered one

I believe the PDF in question is an image scan so not possible to select text and copy for translation. It needs some OCR software to parse it first. Here it is anyway:
Also it's Gen 1. Not what you're after, right?
Is that 1st Gen..I'm after 2nd

wow - is that it? This might be what we have been looking all along. Mine is Vellfire but I guess its same - Alphard or Vellfire
Has anyone purchased it? Does it look any good? Any feedback / comments before I give them my card details!

I have found a Toyota Estima / Alphard workshop manual, in Russian! Plenty of diagrams, exploded views etc. with torque figures on and with Google Lens to translate it is OK, better than nothing.
wow.. can you please share it? is it PDF or link? Translation is not huge problem as you said with Google translate.. better than complete blind fold

I have noticed in last one year Eurocarparts have started listing Alphards in their Vehicle search when looking for parts.
I can't believe the service / repair / mechanic manual are still not available still - so let me try asking Millionth Time(please excuse me!), does anyone know if there are MECHANIC MANUAL (NOT User Manuals) available anywhere?
We know https://toyota.epc-data.com/ is great resource but I'm after proper Repair Manual.By the way some friend suggested https://www.toyodiy.com/tech/diy_.html is very good website but unfortunately there is no reference of Alphards and Vellfires there..sharing for information.

nice, i have a 75D23L installed, max I have seen online in a D23L size was 95A (95D23L) - moving to D26L may be the way to go.
At moment, I just carry a spare battery from my old 3L Diesel in the back with jumpleads, just in case.
How long the spare battery might stay charged in the boot?

Bosch s4 026 worked right away 👍

Hi, if you have the battery specification for your Alphards / Vellfires (2008-2015), please share them?
I noticed mine has battery with a number on it 80D23L and I was told this is the number used in Japan to find replacement batteries. I was also told mine is Diesel engine battery as it has D in it. Crazy..
Btw Mine is 3.5L Vellfire.

I have the limo privacy tint, so the sides are near black from outside, with the rear being slightly more transparent.
Have you tried looking at how the 30 series digital rear view mirror camera is set up?
I have not done so yet, but it may be something that can be fitted for a more oem look
I like to keep redundancy built into the systems as much as possible. Mirror as simple classic and electronic system with recording, both as separate. If possible I would like to have side cameras to cover blind spot. That will be well worth. Wonder if anyone installed something like that?

Mine is definitely tinted with film, it's factory fitted but there are a few small damage spots from scratches that confirm it's a film
That's really interesting. I'll probably use freak blade Stanley knife @Chris.ac to cut a small window once I get proper front and rear Camera set and give a try

The tint, in fairness is a film, so you could use a scalpel to remove a small square of it.
Hi I was looking at the rear windscreen and it looked like there is no film but the glass itself is tinted. Are you sure there should be some film? Any first hand experience? @Chris.ac

Lubricate door runners with white lithium grease , you can get it in a spray can on the net . StormySteve.
Many thanks @stormysteve2
I've got it in a tube, might try that first

What is best lubricant for door channels? Lithium grease? Graphite? Copper greace? Wd40? Silicone spray?

When I started getting issues with Auto covers, I looked into alternatives and found the stormforce cover which would definitely have been my next option, my only concern with that one was the sizing for my particular van, don't know about the Voyager, but note on the write up that it's only water resistant, not waterproof which you might find an issue, definitely worth considering the stormforce though, as the one I'm buying has gone up in price considerably, now £259.00.
One more interesting thing came up was that Nissan Elgrand cover fits Vellfires! Anyone heard this? @Rojie
I'm thinking of stormforce too but wanted to hear practical feedback here if it is worth it.
