Is Vellfire 20 series 2.4 ULEZ compliant?
Charged in London for congestion - YES But NOT for ULEZ That's what I understand.

Is Vellfire 20 series 2.4 ULEZ compliant?
Many autotrader adverts regularly claim that. Also I know these have good emissions stat. I can't point to source / euro stat but I'm almost 100 percent sure these are ULEZ compliant

2011 Alphard 2.4 Petrol Intermittent dash warning lights.
That's low milage. Bit of a tangent but did you import it yourself / got the mileage verified? Possible the odometer was tampered?

Any top tips on best places/websites for used parts? Car breakers?

Looks really good. Was 16 inch wheel bit vague in handling? Many A/Vs have 18/19 inch wheels. I'm not sure if they are suitable if roads are not very smooth / well maintained

[20 Series] How many litres to fill tank from low fuel light?
Good question Kully, I've had Japanese car that had 55 litres capacity, it was supposed to have fuel light turned on when 10 litres was left but whenever I filled up, it never took more than 42-43 litres, suggesting the light had some margin for error. So I'd say for gen 2, 65 litres car light might be set to trigger at about 12 litres but is doing it at around 15. With fuel shaking/level changing in the tank, sensor might be getting triggered earlier?

Change Japanese interface to English?
This one is making it look so easy but is 2012-2014 gen 2. (I've not tried on mine older one it is not here yet)

Change Japanese interface to English?
Does anyone knows if it is possible to change the system interface language from Japanese to English, on a Gen 2 Alphards or Vellfires? It would make things so much easier if you want to continue using everything as original. My gut feeling is there has to be a way? Settings? Software update? Chip fitting? Is there anything out there that is not common knowledge? Calling experts to comment. I don't think I'm first one to think of this and might be reinventing the wheel / wasting time if it were impossible.. Changing satnav to uk was another question but TBH Waze with latest map and live traffic on dashboard makes it almost redundant

Underseal is universal nice to have Rear fog is universal mandatory for JDM Rear cat removed? I would like to know more about it. Parts I like to believe Toyota have mostly interchangeable ones as long as we know the right part number. One member Chris is good at it and has multiple helpful posts. Reliability of toyotas is not issue traditionally and these are well established king mpv most popular in Japan. I think you would be better off getting gen 2 and lowest possible mileage you can fit in budget to avoid parts issue

Guess half decent obd scanner should always be part of our kit I've not tried this first hand but recommended to me. Should work for Alpha/Vells unless someone knows better ones? https://www.mycarly.com/plan/?c=GB&b=toyota&n=Toyota

I find megathread good option like a pin up board where you know what to look where. Participantion could be better but between Alphard Club, Chris Rojie you and few more it is making all worth it

MEGATHREAD - All things LPG ππ
I was told by someone that we can get two tanks fitted if you r wanted. Say 60x2. AFAIK Petrol shelf life is 3-6 months usually and if using lpg mostly, that can be easily reached

Sorry I didn't write it clearly, I mean in generic sense how cars behave. It is my guess as to what might have happened. May be I should stop guessing π

That's very interesting. I was thinking I'll do it manually - turn to petrol at end of every journey and turn to gas five min after start of every journey. But it is done for you.. If running on lpg mostly, petrol in the tank can start going off if kept for far too long? I imagine it will be good to not fill the petrol tank full but say only 1/3rd.
