  1. Get a multimeter for £10 and just work it out
  2. 1. Electric Captains/Ottoman seats - no. Normal seats - yes but it's not flat so but you'll need to fill in dips with foam/fabric 2. Pointless, doesn't seem to make much difference in 99% of situations and it's another thing to go wrong 3. Anything from 18-32 MPG depending on driving conditions (i.e. no point asking as it's so varied) 4. A tad overpriced but depends on other options it has. Also, if buying from a dealer you'll have the dealer premium 5. Relatively yes, Amayama.com, local Toyota or any number of breakers around the UK. The bigger the part the more expensive shipping will be, so don't ever scratch or damage the bodywork or bumpers as you'll need to sell your kidneys, and your children's kidneys to cover the cost of shipping a bumper from Japan.
  3. The Cybex Solution line will fit - I have 2. If you have the electric ottoman seats then getting to the seatbelt mechanism is a bit difficult if you have big hands but possible. If you have the non-electric Ottoman seats with the arm rest that lifts up you should be fine. It also helps that the Cybex Solution G I-Fix is one of the best crash test rated car seats.
  4. If you have enough money anything is possible. I'm sure you could spend thousands getting the kit imported. Then pay a garage to fit, or pay for someone to fly over from Malaysia to fit it. If you have enough money anything is possible.
  5. I have a inductive tone generator on order from Alixpress which will be invaluable to trace cables wirelessly in the car On another note, if you want the cleanest look for the console end panel, you'll need part number 58923-58080-A0 (A0 is beige, black is either B0 or C0). You can then buy the USB ports that snap into those cutouts.
  6. Only when you put it in L or R position, but not in the centre
  7. Plenty of videos on Youtube showing off the captain's seats Search for "L package". They don't turn. You can slide them forward and that's about it.
  8. The Tesla style screens are unbranded chinese junk. Look on Alixpress - hundreds that are exactly the same but with a different brand. Don't expect them to last very long. If you're going to go for Android head unit, go for a good brand like Joying, EKIY, Atoto, Xtrons, Teyes etc
  9. You'll need a OBD reader probably
  10. Any ideas where the 2 wires (blue/green) goes? Anywhere near the 2 interior fuse boxes? I'm thinking to put in 12v cig lighter or USB on the rear end panel of the console.
  11. Well I tested it, and the green/blue wire has no voltage. There's a white connector with around 8 wires, which I'm hoping is to the TV unit, but I'll need to get a toner generator to trace it.
  12. Is it too obvious to say "Button marked TV"?
  13. Why did they drill a hole rather than us one of the unused switch spaces just above 🤦‍♂️. As to what it is, if it's not a fog light, the answer could be anything, and no one is better placed to work it out than you.
  14. I was just wondering the exact same question earlier this week. Mine has no 100V sockets or VTR. Opened up the end panel to find 3 connectors. I have the part number for the end console which does have the connectors so I will buy those. When I get a chance, I plan to test if these are live with a multimeter, and then use a tone generator to trace where they go. However, I'm hoping someone knows the answer already.
  15. Thanks, I've ordered the relay and will try to fit.
  16. Sorry to dig up this old thread... I've just bought the Valenti RBR-T1 lights from Japan). From your pictures the LED wiring on the back seems straight forward, but how is it wired on the dash (I plan to use a button for the moment rather than replace the stalk). Where do I tap the cable from the rear on the dash?
  17. Don't bother with Halfords, try any other garage.
  18. I have the factory ones and am in London. Send pics and we could possibly do a part-x/swap?
  19. The question is somewhat academic, because ANH30 seats will be insanely expensive, even if you somehow managed to find a breaker in the UK selling ANH30 parts.
  20. Use Buyee as a proxy to buy from Japan (Amazon.co.jp, Rakuten, Yahoo Auctions)
  21. You don't need a filter you need this adapter which lets you use all 18 speakers https://incartec.co.uk/product/Toyota-Alphard-AH20-2008-2015-with-OEM-NAV-amplifier-bypass-cable-20-323
  22. I have a 2010 Alphard with an electric boot. I can use the button on the roof or the button on the remote to open the boot. The boot has a rubber button where you would normally press to open it, but it doesn't do anything. What's it for? (I'm not talking about the button on the base of the door to close the door once it's opened which is to the left, I'm talking about the button just above the registration plate
  23. No to changing language. Yes to changing. You can get them from anywhere you can buy a car stereo. You will need a double din sized unit
  24. When you plug it into the computer, does it come up as an unknown device? Do you see anything with an exclamation mark in device manager?
