  1. A full morning. Once I'd done one it was quicker.
  2. Those were on aliexpress, £87 each now.
  3. I've recently changed the lenses on my alphard. I purchased them off Temu. They took a little while to get over here, but we're well packed and look great now I've fitted them. Changing them was a little difficult due to the sealer used. A heat gun to soften it and a gentle leverage was needed. I'll get some photos of them.if you like and I could send you a link from were I got them.
  4. How did you get the headlight out? Did you have to remove the bumper.i want to get mine out so I can change the clear lens on both. Thanks
  5. Has anyone removed the headlight unit. I’m trying to get the headlight units out, I’ve removed the top 2 screws, it won’t move but can’t see anymore fixings. I’m assuming that there must be fixing behind the bumper . thanks
  6. Hi, I had the awning fitted by Hill View Awnings. It took them around an hour to install but 24 for the adhesive sealer to set before we could use it. The brackets are screwed on with the sealer behind and around the mounts. Hope that helps.
  7. Hi my 2005 alphard with pop top on 17" wheels 70 series tyres and a thule side awning which is a little taller than the pop top goes in car parks with a 2.1 metre height as that's the height of our underground parking space. I've only had trouble getting in one car park and that was the local hospital.
  8. I don't believe that there is one due to the plastic lip at the top of the door. That means the securing straps would be fixed to or over the plastic. So not very secure, the best option would be a tow bar bike rack. I think the thule is version lowers to allow boot opening.
  9. I have a tow bar fitted on our 2005 camper, and carry a thule luggage box on it. This seemed to make the rear low, so I fitted up rated rear springs. It now sits level and drives far smoother ( less forward / back rocking).
  10. I fitted EBC greenstuff brake pads. A lot better feel but quite a lot more brake dust.
