  1. I now tow a 4-berth Lunar Venus caravan, with a laden weight of just under 1400kg, and the Vellfire 2.4 seems to tow it very well, without a gearbox oil cooler. I wouldn't want to tow anything heavier with it though. Hope this helps
  2. Hi. I have a 2009 Vellfire 2.4 with a cvt transmission; could I tow a 4 berth caravan with it? Would it need a gearbox oil cooler fitted? Thanks.
  3. OK, I'll give it a go! Thanks for your help; much appreciated. Kind regards Phil
  4. Thanks Smurf, Any idea how to remove the glass to get at the plug would be appreciated. Phil
  5. Yesterday, another motorist hit my offside door mirror; it still adjusts electrically, and the indicator repeater still works, but the demisting element has stopped working; any ideas on repairing it? Thanks Phil
  6. Good afternoon all, On the hot topic of insurance, I had my renewal notice today from my current insurer, who increased the premium from £495 to £604.44, so I got a few quotes from other insurers, the cheapest being Confused.com (Admiral), at £824.32, and the dearest being Direct Line, at £1056.93. I then contacted Adrian Flux, who quoted a fully comprehensive policy at £447.09, plus breakdown cover at £99.00. and Key care at £19.00; total £565.09! Needless to say, I took out this policy. (I'm retired, so my annual mileage is less than 10,000 miles.) I have a 2009 Vellfire 2.4, professionally converted to a full camper. Phil
  7. Hi all, Just a quick note to let you know that I bought a set of locking wheel nuts for my 2009 Vellfire, (OEM Alloys), from Fish Brothers Toyota, who do mail-order, and they are a perfect fit. They only cost me £29.48 including postage. The part number is: TPW456-00013. Phil
  8. Thanks Rojie, I was thinking I should get the battery tested. Phil
  9. I've recently bought a 2009 Vellfire 2.4, and my battery seems to be draining over a couple of nights, too. Has anyone found a solution? Phil
  10. Thanks guys; my wheels are the original ones. Your help is much appreciated.
