  1. 🤯 replacing the current all singing dancing dose everything ( in Japanese) audio unit, falling apart fed up listening to Radio 2, Caroline. All sorted but I need some info on stuff before I plunge down the rabbit hole. Rear camera: shop thinks but not sure that camera format won't match new unit,Pioneer. Not the voltage issue but will only give a poor view. Not bothered about front cameras. Speakers: is it just a case of counting speaker grills to work out if it has surround sound? I have numerous handbooks and certificates for the system but all Japanese. Any help will be appreciated. Ta muchly
  2. Any wiring diagrams available for installation of power outlets in the rear cabin? For Phone charging etc. What can I run from the 100v ( small auto fridge)?
  3. Being bone idle the errant radio remains. However it's obviously got bored with being ignored, the facia suddenly opened, then closed, beeped then got stuck halfway, lost radio completely, steering wheel controls, on/off,(stays on ) . Still not spitting CD out so it's continuous country hits unless volume turned down. So I'm off to watch YouTube idiots guide to trashing the dashboard, local audio places not interested or charge far too much.
  4. Local pothole has killed the headunit in my 05 Alf, (Toyota 56064). Defaults to select disc change, but front won't open, lots of whiring and beeping. So I,m stuck with one cd and AM radio 🙄 Question is can I retrieve cd with out use of prybar / hammer? Guess next question is where's the idiots guide to replacing the head unit keeping cameras and sonic parking. ( oddly satisfying ignoring the nagging)
