Correct tyre size for ANH10W
Hi there, I just looked in my Alphy manual (it's a Japanese Translation: JPZ Manuals or something like that) and the stated tyre size for a 2.4 ANH10W (FWD) is 225/55 R17 95W (so a W speed rating is still way in excess of any speed I'll ever go at, but Hey Ho.....) See attached photo from the Manual - which sadly I just had to remove - cos it's copyrighted!!. Cheers, Bill

Correct tyre speed rating for 2007 2.4G Alphy?
Many Thanks for that. H sounds more like it - although that's 130mph too. I'll look into the XL's - although I've never experienced much roll in mine anyway.

Correct tyre speed rating for 2007 2.4G Alphy?
Can anyone advise on the correct tyre Speed rating for a 2007 2.4G Alphy, please? Mine has Bridgestone 225/55R17 101V's fitted at the moment - which drive really well and are coming up for renewal - but a speed rating of V is something like 149mph which sounds barking to me! Any advice on what tyre types / ratings other forum members have used would be very welcome. Thanks!

would overhead unit connect to android head unit?
Hi there! Did you get any joy with this? Asking 'cos I'm just about to have a kenwood head unit fitted (in my 2007 2.4 Alphy) & it'd be great if the A/V out on the Kenwood will drive the rear screen. Cheers, Bill

sliding door problem
I've got exactly the same problem on my 2007 Alphy: passenger side door shuts about half way then stops and re-opens. I'll try Mikedraperuk's fix (i.e. clean, degrease, relube) - but how do you switch the doors to manual?

2.4 owners, what's the best MPG you managed to get on motorways?
I've had my 2007 2.4l Alphy for a couple of months. I'm tracking the MPG and I'm getting somewhere around 27 for mixed driving. On a longish run along the A303 recently (about 180 miles total) I got aover 29 mpg which I'm well chuffed with. That was driving between 65 and 70.

Head Unit Replacement
Thanks for all replies. Having completley failed to interst ANYBODY in fitting this for me, I've concluded it's gonna have to be DIY. So... in good Systems Engineering fashion, rather than just buying looms and stuff, plugging 'em together and seeing if they work, I'll start by mapping out all the interfaces: does anybody out there have any diagrams for the rear of the NH3T-W56 Head unit - specifically the pin outs on each of the connectors? I've had a trawl online but can't find anything. (I can't be the first to encounter this problem....)

Head Unit Replacement
You beat me to it! I'm a newbie too having just got my first Alphy (07 plate, 2.4l) and, short of learning Japanese, I'm also looking to swap out my head unit (NH3T-W56, which I think is a Panasonic unit). The guy who supplied my Alphy (Steve at SBT Hobbies & Autos, Gosport) has been really helpful and assures me that he can get wiring harnesses to suit Pioneer Head Units, so he may be able to help you / me. What I'm really interested in is whether the existing reversing camera will work with a new Head unit. I somehow doubt it - but once again, any advice gratefully received.
