    Hello Craig,

    Please clarify.

The mileage on Facebook is 66,000 kms, whereas DVLA has it recoded as 66,000 miles.

    Which is it please?

Interested parties should note that the MOT is due within two months.

It's not my car/ad! - Although I think Farcebook marketplace always lists distance as KMs, so I'd hazard a guess it's miles. The short MoT wasn't that attractive to me either TBH.

  2. Another successful cruise upgrade completed on my 2009 vellfire. As above, the no expense spared £9 stalk I've fitted works, but doesn't light up the cruise light on the dash. My stalk only has two wires, is there different ones that do also turn on the cruise indicator light?

Secondly, seems I ordered the trim piece for a 10 series by mistake, any pointers for the right trim piece for a 20 series?

Took me about 2hours, but this was to discover the wires needed, some routing of wires and trying different ways to route the flexi connector to the screen.

    I bought this: https://a.aliexpress.com/_mPcGuRy

Resurrecting an ancient thread here, @Chris.ac if you have details on this is love to know how you sorted it all out. The AliExpress link no longer works, are you able to share the spec etc if your item so I can try and locate something similar? My vellfire has a slightly different head unit so I may still have issues making it work.

    Cheers!

Use that link to the Facebook Toyota owners group featured page, it details how at least one member paid 50000 yen to get the correct documentation to have his car registration updated too show Euro4 status. Costs a bit but means it can definitely be done to allow an older Alphards to be allowed into LEZ and ULEZ zones both here in UK and in Europe.

If it's just the UK zones, it is probably worth trying a page from the Toyota environmental statement document from about 2003 and a copy of your v5 sent in as the Elgrand guys have been doing. Zero cost option if it works. That was going to be my initial approach before spending anything extra.
