I also have a CampervanCo conversion which came with a dodgy 12v battery, but in the 20 series (mine is 2012) the 12v battery is in a compartment at the nearside rear, not under the driver's seat. AA fitted a battery which allowed it to start/run but gave a few red lights and error message on the dash so I ordered a new battery online from eBay (make sure it has the temperature cable) and took minutes to fit it myself. Now all is perfect, cruise control working again, fuel usage data showing, etc.

I was advised to inform DVLA via the blue slip (1.) on page 2 of the V5. Simple process, just enter the new number of seats and post off. Got the replacement V5 within 2 weeks.

Final Update, "CampervanCo" (Campers Scotland Ltd) is now in liquidation.

A Christmas Eve update on "CampervanCo" (Campers Scotland Ltd) is that they are still showing as active on Companies House, no receiver in the Gazette, but premises are locked up and staff redundant. However some customers are reporting that "their" vehicles may be advertised for sale (don't pay anything to this company) and two of us now have interim court orders (Interlocutors in Scotland) against the company and they are now with Sheriffs Officers.

Although it is still to be confirmed, CampervanCo (Campers Scotland Ltd) have stopped answering calls and may have gone out of business. A Facebook group for people affected has been set up "Complain against CampervanCo Scotland" and we are waiting further news. Be warned!
