Yes very interesting about the trims!

We've decided to give up, getting a new radio at Halfords next week.

Good Luck with Halfords. Please report your choice and success.

Hi Jenny,

It seems you are right, the radio code id locked. This is all new ground for me.

There seems to be several (at least) youtube videos that can help you.

Most of them have a charge; surprising !

However, I found one, that appears not to.

Scan youtube for Basharat Ahmad.

If your unit is a NDDN-W57 he seems to offer a method for unlocking your unit.

Good Luck, hope it works for you.

Please let me know.

I have managed to get hold of someone who claims his code will unlock it even if it is locked by a personal password. As you said, might be worth a try.

I did find the man you said but he needed a code from me to get the code from him. His video says to press the 'power' button while clicking the parking lights on and off 3 times. This should give you a number to give him. But when we do that nothing happens.

Hi Jenny, I still think guessing the pet password is your best bet.

Hi Johnsey,

Respectfully, I think this thread has run its course.

Can you start a new one please, as Jenny has resolved her issue.

If you have a MZ G you probably have an HDD unit.

Please refer to eightseaterblog.com; as that is probably the best guide you will find.
