Tricky Dicky
Hi there, I was rear ended just before Christmas, rear door is quite badly damaged, lights are OK one sensor is not working, wheel arch plastic is damaged and rear trim/bumper is cracked and damaged. My question is how easy is it to get replacement parts it is a 2008 model 2.4 litre ? My insurance is pushing me to write off the vehicle due to age and being an import. Many thanks. Hi Tricky, Welcome to the Forum. So sorry to hear about your predicament. Won't the 'offenders' insurance company be paying for the damage repair. Hopefully you have it insured for a sensible value. You might want to start collecting some for sale adverts so you will be able to demonstrate its true value.
Tricky Dicky
Hi Rojie, The other drivers insurance is taking care of the claim, I suspect they will also be pushing to write off the vehicle, independent assessor arriving next week, so we will wait and see what they have to say. Good advice on collecting the for sale adverts, I will be doing that shortly.
