Interesting Thread. Im also in the position where the car came with a replacement Android screen - so I have no idea what model it came with, Chatgpt seems to think it was 08545‑00R40 I do know it has 18 speakers, amp and subwoofer - im curious to see what can be made to work. Browsing Aliexpress for the MOST box, I see this. Skyfame MOST box . It has different options - Full set free most, Full set Big plug, Full set small plug.. None of this means anything to me! Any advice on which option to go with?

  • Problem 1.  Audio   Plugging everything together went well.  The 16-pin Android head unit, the MOST box, and the car plugs all go together and there's generally only one way as the connector

Hi CamelX, you've probably figured this out already but on the AliExpress Sky Fame page (linked above) scroll down to the Description field and expand it. In there are detailed photos of the exact connectors in each of the three packages. The written descriptions ( Full set Big plug, Full set small plug... ) don't convey much information. You'll need to remove the head unit from your vehicle and examine the connectors on the vehicle wiring harnesses. Match these up exactly with the photos of the SkyFame connectors - that way you can be sure you are selecting the correct package.

Yeah, as suggested by @Dave_R check the wiring you have and make sure you order the correct MOST box. I initially ordered one from eBay, but it had the wrong connections.

You can post some pictures here and I may be able to help, as I did a lot of research to get mine working. I know how frustrating it is when not all the speakers are working.

Also, have a look under the passenger seat to make sure all the wires for the amp are still there and haven’t been cut. I was lucky — they had only used an amp bypass cable, so everything was still there.

I’ll take a more in depth look at the plugs this weekend when I have some time, in the meantime I just did a Quick Look under the seats to make sure everything seems to be there. Just looks like plugs have been unplugged from the Panasonic. Also included a single picture from behind the current android head unit.IMG_5302.jpeg

Under the drivers seat is the subwoofer. No idea if that’s powered on.

Under the passenger seat.

Behind head unit. I’ll need to reach in an see what connectors are in there.
